High performance meditation after the workout is very simple and easy to do.  This exercise involves thinking about what you just completed and only focusing on the positives.  For instance, suppose you had a difficult time at working out one day because you were tired. 

 

You really did not accomplish much and the whole experience just lowered your expectations.  This is a good time for post-workout high performance meditation.  It is important to do this exercise immediately after the workout as well.  First you must find a positive and focus only on that positive. 

 

Everybody has bad days and let’s be honest with yourself, you will have bad days too.  It is just human nature to have a bad day.  Life is rarely about one day followed by another great day and sew on…Life is much more about opposing times & tones…If we didn’t know great days, we couldn’t identify the bad ones…If we didn’t have light, we couldn’t identify the dark, etc.

 

It is up to you to make the most out of your bad day.  In order to do this, you should meditate on the fact that you were extremely tired, yet you still went to exercise.  Even on your worst day you exercise because you have a schedule and you are not going to let something like tiredness allow you to stray from your schedule. 

 

By meditating on this fact alone you will actually increase your confidence in yourself.  You may think that thinking this way is negative, but this is not the case.  Focusing on how your day started and how you made it through the day will help you further your goals.
