What you believe is to be true will help you achieve your results.  Your mind is a strange thing because it can be the most important tool in helping you meet your goals, and at the same time it can be the biggest negative to helping you fail in your efforts.

The following exercises will help you believe in yourself and therefore achieve your results.

First, you must always find a positive in every time you workout.  Even if the positive is that you did not give up, you still must make that fact a success in your workout.

For instance, let us say that you had a bad workout and dropped in the amount of weight you were lifting, could not do all of the repetitions etc.  You could see this as a negative and a regression in your training, or you could see this as a positive in that you tried your best and never gave up.

By believing that even the most negative can be a positive will help you remain confident to achieve your goals.

You should build a positive support team.  Your friends will help you maintain your beliefs in yourself because they also would like for you to succeed.  Also a support team can encourage your best performance.

Avoid friends or coaches that try to downplay your achievements because this will only instill doubt in your mind.  Only relate with those that will help your perform and challenge your abilities.

If you have support and believe in yourself, thanks to a few friends, then before you know it you can and will achieve your goals.

Here’s an idea: Make your good friends your training partners! Hold each other accountable to stay on track and maybe even include a little friendly competition in the process.

Keep Going!
